Many actors dream of "working" but don't necessarily know what to do once they are hired. This class will get you ready! There is no need to fret when you know what is going to happen, how the day will be arranged and what is expected of you on set. Each level of acting has its own responsibilities. This course is designed to prepare you to be on set working and being able to do what is not only required of you but allow you to THRIVE.
CLASS LIMIT: 15 STUDENTS
Week One: Co-Star, Guest Star and Recurring Roles
We will go over each level of the job and how to do your job accordingly. Review shooting schedules. Responsibility on set. How to navigate week to week for a recurring role. Speaking to Directors. Color breakdown of scripts. How to read schedule breakdown of shooting schedule, one-liners, scenes and script.
Week Two: Script Breakdown for Lead in Film
Alyshia will walk you through a timeline and tools to be able to lead a film from start to finish. Tools will be given to do deep script analysis and make leading the film feel less pressurized and more alive and fun. A full script will be provided for you to do your own timeline, script analysis and character development. Each of these tools will be taught and discussed through one script.
Week Three: Bring in your timeline on feature film and Q & A
A full script will be provided for you to outline and timeline for your own benefit. Timelines will be presented by each actor with time to review.
